Grupo Catalana Occidente has made the commitment of integrating into its strategy responsible and sustainable management in environmental, social and economic aspects. The sustainability policy establishes the framework for managing the business in accordance with this commitment and the Sustainability Master Plan is the road map for its development.
Sustainability is fully integrated into the Group's organisational structure and governance system. It has the support and involvement of senior management and is managed and supervised through three committees with responsibilities in this area: Sustainability Committee, Audit Committee and Compliance Verification Committee.
Grupo Catalana Occidente's identification of the materiality features critical and highly relevant issues for the organisation's sustainability. These matters relate to the GRI standards reported and the Sustainable Development Goals.

Grupo Catalana Occidente adheres to the principles of the Global Compact and it is committed to the Sustainable Development Goals. It is a signatory to the UNEP-FI Principles for Sustainable Insurance and UNPRI Principles for Responsible Investment.
