Seguros Bilbao has held its 11th edition of the Agents and Commercial Network Sessions this week. The convention, which kicked off on Monday 8th at the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, gathered 300 professionals from around Spain.
The welcome session was attended by the CEO of the Catalana Occidente Group, Ignacio Álvarez, the Director General of Seguros Bilbao, Javier Maiztegui, and the Commercial Deputy Director General of Seguros Bilbao, José Manuel Ereño, who all went over the evolution of the business during the past year and the business goals and challenges for 2018.
This edition included a clear reference to the insurance company's centenary, which takes place in 2018, with the slogan “One hundred years with you”. During the three days of this event, other aspects were also touched upon, such as the support plan for the different strategic branches of Seguros Bilbao and the agency network, as well as the main developments and projects in the general and life insurance divisions.
The sessions also provided all commercial managers and agents a space in which to share their experiences, receive training and reflect on the profession and its challenges for 2018. The event's crowning touch was the recognition awards given by Seguros Bilbao to its professionals.
