Plus Ultra Seguros has held a conference for its business development for expatriates unit in the city of Segovia, in order to inform its mediators of the action plan for the coming months, as well as to review this division's recent performance.
Luis Vallejo, Commercial Director of Plus Ultra Seguros, opened the event, informing the attendees of the key figures and projects for this year, as well as highlighting the strategy's main focus, which is on "consolidating and strengthening the mediator network in order to offer a better service to this group of customers."
At the end of 2017, Plus Ultra Seguros stepped up its commitment to more personalised management for foreign customers residing in Spain, setting up a specialist unit. Since then, the division has performed very well, in terms of both improving the services provided and increasing turnover in the last year, especially in car and home insurance (+18% and +57%, respectively).
Through the business development for expatriates unit, the company aims to provide support to specialist mediators, allowing them to adequately respond to the needs of foreign citizens residing in Spain. In addition, this group of customers has specific needs, and the network of mediators in this area is equipped with the appropriate knowledge and products in order to respond to these preferences in a personalised and professional manner.
The event was attended by Javier Montoya, Director of Control and Commercial Management at Plus Ultra Seguros; Julio Pérez, the company's regional director of Mediators for Eastern Spain; José Martinez, head of the insurance company's business development for expatriates unit, and Juan Ramírez, Director of Commercial Development at Plus Ultra Seguros.
