The Catalana Occidente Museum

The aim of the Grupo Catalana Occidente Museum is to bring together, in a small space, over 140 years of the company s history through different objects, images and documents.

IN this way, it also pays tribute to all the employees who, throughout the years, have made Catalana Occidente what it is today - one of Spain ’ s leading insurance companies.

The museum has more than 600 exhibits including brochures, machines, plaques, advertisements, office material, letters, pictures and books, among others, of which 300 selected items are on display.

Items are displayed by theme, so visits can be arranged around related subjects : policies and documents, machines and tools, historical overview of the sales network, subsidiary companies, the group’s image over time, institutional relations, among others.This allows visitors to view the items in the order of their choice.

The Grupo Catalana Occidente Museum is located on the first floor of the group’s headquarters at Avda.Alcalde Barnils nº 63 at Sant Cugat del Vallés(Barcelona ).

Institutions can request visits to the museum by sending an e - mail to museo@catalanaoccidente.com at least one month in advance.
